Pensiuni, case, blocuri, magazine cu ceramică pestriţă, asfalt. Şi un oraş turistic, Horezu, în care toate lucrurile sunt aşezate la locul lor. Undeva, dincolo de sate, dealuri şi păduri, sub norii plumburii ce vor aduce ploaia, muntele. Un munte ciudat, o dihanie tăcută, stâncoasă, adormită, fiinţa asta uriaşă care străjuieşte împrejurimile: Buila-Vânturariţa.
