Aventura unui borcan cu gem
Vechile sate sasesti din sud-estul Transilvaniei arata azi aproape ca acum 500 de ani. Farmec medieval, dar si o anume... pedeapsa. In Saschiz, spre exemplu (un sat in apropiere de Sighisoara), asezare inclusa in patrimoniul mondial UNESCO, reguli severe de urbanism interzic folosirea termopanului, la fel cum norme europene interzic exploatarea intensiva a pasunilor. Toate interdictiile astea sunt menite sa apere identitatea locului: atat faptele iesite din mana omului, case, porti, obiceiuri, cat si minunile nemaivazute ale naturii. Prin 2004, de pilda, in timp ce-si documenta teza de doctorat, un savant englez descoperea 105 specii de plante si de insecte, in numai un metru patrat de pasune. ...
